WandaVision Episode 4 Through its first three episodes, WandaVision has been more of a compelling and creative thought experiment that it was a coherent TV show. After nine episodes, WandaVision has wrapped up with a tremendous series finale episode. Agatha Harkness and Tyler Hayward’s plans have been foiled. Vision has ceased to exist in one sense, while a version of him continues to exist in another sense. Westview is freed, all except for one doomed citizen. Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, has moved on to find out what she truly is. Then, as we’re tipped off by the lack of Disney+ asking us if we want to watch Avengers: Age of Ultron next, we get two different post-credits scenes....

The news broke via several entertainment outlets last night during the airing of “Survived Much Worse,” right before the on-screen reveal that someone wearing Kate’s red necklace lies seemingly unconscious in the sewers of Gotham. At first, it might appear Colin Minihan’s cat-and-mouse-chace movie What Keeps You Alive is serving up just another lesbian psychopath through the lens of a man, but Hannah Emily Anderson owns her psychoses. Admittedly, this reviewer is on record for having an affinity for villains and anti-heroes, but Jackie lays it out straight. She jokes about being a psychopath. She beams her narcissistic stare, sometimes directly into the camera, while remaining a bit offside, begging the audience to hate her....

Great premise, right? Well, the production has some great creative talent to drive it too. Eden comes from director Yasuhiro Irie, who also did Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and boasts Toshihiro Kawamoto, best known as character designer and animation director for Cowboy Bebop, as a concept designer. Hopefully, Eden is good; regardless, it is a notable series in the history of Netflix, as Eden is being billed as “the first Netflix Japanese Original Anime....
